Shopping with GrocerySmarts

About a month ago I went to coupon class. Now that may sound crazy to some, but i figured, the more I save the more cooking i get to do. So i went to the class and she taught us how to save 50%-100% on grocery items by using this website and the Sunday newspaper. I decided to try it out and i get 3 Sunday newspapers a week, giving me 3 copies of every coupon in each coupon book. Yesterday I tried it out for the first time using the website and my coupons I'd collected and bought all the items below:

3- Lady Speed Stick Deodorants

2- Herbal Essences Moose

4- Herbal Essences Shampoos/Conditioners

2- Right Guard Deodorants

2- Gillette Facial Scrubs

1- Gillette Facial Cream

3- Gillette Shaving Gels

4- Gillette Shower Wash

2- Band-aid Packages

Total Price without coupons or discounts was: $100.59

I saved this much using Discounts/Coupons (all of which are posted on that website every week): $72.77

This is the Price I Paid- $27.82 (which is about $1/item... and these are not cheap items)

Meaning I saved 72% on these items!!! Is that crazy or what? We needed to get 1 of each of these items, so we would have spent probably $25 just to get them, but this was i got enough for 4-6 months! We are so excited about this way of saving and using coupons since we are trying to work on our food storage!
